H&M new collection of year 2017 reveals the beauty of sustainability and satisfies all your party dressing needs. Each detail of this collection is created from sustainable materials, including BIONIC®, which is a polyester, made entirely of coastline waist recycled into plastic.
Beauty and sensuous world is in the center of new H&M collection M Conscious Exclusive. All the garments of this collection are created for special occasions, available from 20th of april in about 160 stores all around the world s well as online.
“For this year’s Conscious Exclusive collection at H&M, we thought not only about the look of the pieces, but also how they feel and sound. It’s a collection to please all our senses, and also our desire to be sustainable in everything we do,” says Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Head of Design and Creative Director.
Every piece in the women’s Conscious Exclusive collection combines the freshness of spring with the soul of sustainability. Tha main piece is an ethereal gown of flowing folds, made from BIONIC® – a polyester made of recycled coastline waste. Peonies and mimosa have been printed then twisted to create dreamy prints.
Conscious Exclusive has caught the atmosphere of the night, especially with the shimmer that appeal to the senses on a short recycled polyester dress. Meanwhile the tuxedo is transformed intoa lounge jacket in organic silk and TENCEL® twill, with trousers that playfully flounce at the leg.
Accessories include a fishnet bag completely made of recycled coastline waste, as well as quirky and elegant earrings made from recycled glass and plastic. This year, the Conscious Exclusive collection also includes men’s garments, and for the first time the collection also includes a selection of styles for kids, such as beautiful little tulle dresses, and the softest structured blazers and trousers with a charming street style feel.
In addition to the full assortment of formalwear for both men and women, the collection will, for the first time, include childrenswear and a Conscious Exclusive fragrance, made from organic oils. The collection is available starting from April 20, so you can already have a look at the gown in all its recycled glory, in the campaign, featuring model Natalia Vodianova. Conscious Exclusive is a key part of H&M’s move towards a more sustainable future. Across H&M’s entire offering, 26% is now made from sustainable materials, with a goal each year to increase the share. For example by 2020 H&M aims for 100% of its cotton to be sustainably sourced. It is all proof of H&M’s commitment to making sustainable, good-quality fashion accessible to as many people as possible.
