There is an opinion that the style and fashion is dictated by men – homosexuals – since the mid-20th century. This fact is proved by many interviews and private life reflections in the media of the biggest fashion and beauty industry personalities. Intentionally or not, we have to agree that the existing beauty standards in the end of the 20th century and the early 21stcentury are quite robust, youthfully boyish and androgenous.
But now many of the consumer segment brands are choosing women with non-standard body and age as their brand faces, in that way showing that they are aware of shapes and sizes of real women and that there is unconformity with beauty standards of high fashion. However, luxury and mid-market segment brands continue to inspire with their advertising campaigns where a key role is played by high fashion standardized girls.
MORETHANSIZE team photo experiment proves – non-standard women, what we are, look great always and everywhere, also in famous brand advertising campaigns
